Dr. M. Lindsay Struthers was born in Wilmington, North Carolina and attended the University of Richmond where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1971. She attended medical school at the University of South Florida where she received her Medical Doctorate in 1974 and completed her Residency at the University of South Florida affiliated hospitals. She joined Bay Gynecological Associates in 1978 and practices Gynecology.

Dr. Struthers is a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and served as Chairman of the OB/GYN Department at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida from 1988 to 1992. She is married and enjoys competing in Triathlons with her husband as well as bird watching, hiking, and traveling. She is an active member of the Florida Ob & Gyn Society.
