Dr. Donna Hargrove was born in Augusta, Georgia and attended the University of Georgia where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1980. After changing from a career in horticulture, she received her medical degree from The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1996.
She completed a traditional medical internship at Suncoast Hospital , Largo, Florida in 1997, and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency training at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida in 2001. During her residency she received awards in research and pathology and was honored as outstanding resident of the year in her junior year and served as Administrative Chief Resident Physician her senior year.
Dr. Hargrove is a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecolgy. In addition to full time private practice with Bay Gynecological Associates, she serves as a full time faculty member and assistant medical director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at Bayfront Medical Center. She is an active member of the American Medical Association, Pinellas County Medical Society, Florida Medical Association, and the Florida Ob & Gyn Society. |
