Bayfront Baby Place

Bayfront Baby Place, our award-winning obstetrical unit, is now open in its new home at All Children's Hospital, bringing the expertise of both organizations together in one very special space. As the first ever occurance in the U.S., this national prototype will have two separate hospitals collaborating to bring the maternity unit of Bayfront Hopsital and All Children's Hospital together.

What you should know:

This new arrangement eliminates the need to separate moms and high risk babies after delivery. (45% of all babies delivered at Bayfront are considered high risk.)
The Bayfront Baby Place houses 40 brand new mother/baby rooms (an increase of 22 rooms.)
This new space includes a conference center and training facility for new and expecting parents to learn about parenting and healthy living.
The Bayfront Baby Place includes its own separate entrance and mini emergency room offering quick and easy access for patients.
The Bayfront Baby Place is fully operated by Bayfront staff and physicians, yet surrounded by the expertise of All Children's Hospital.
